Halloween Special

The Halloween Special is part of the seasonal programme at Audley End Enchanted Railway, the miniature woodland railway near Saffron Walden in north Essex. You ride the little train into the forest, stop in the woods to meet the Pumpkin Queen, and spend the rest of the day among the trees.

What to expect:

• 17 and 18 October, then 24 October to 1 November 2026
• "The tracks are lined with charming, not-too-spooky scenes for all ages" - bears dressed as mummies, a vampire, skeletons and scarecrows
• "Each little one will receive a gift"; potion-making in the Craft Lodge; an interactive stage show about the origins of the Pumpkin Queen
• New Pumpkin Village for pumpkin picking and photos, plus the Fairy & Elf walk and the adventure playground
