Spookfest is part of the programme at Church Farm Ardeley, a working farm with a cafe, farm shop and woodland play near Stevenage in Hertfordshire. "Come and meet the animals and enjoy wonderful rustic creepy fun! Geared towards families so 'spooky' rather than 'terrifying'."
What to expect:

- The Spookfest Farm Day Pass covers a Spooky Farm Trail round the animals, Big Bale Play, a toddler bale maze and the Creepy Fairy Woodland
- Spot the Pumpkin with sweet-treat prizes, a Scarecrow Trail and spooky fairy doors
- A Halloween activity pack, puzzles, colouring and stickers for the best dressed
- Optional extras booked on top: pick your own pumpkin and carve it in the marquee, Woodland Trick or Treating, Ghoulish Goat Walking or a trailer ride
- "Parking is free, dogs welcome, under two's go free"
