Haunted Night at the Museum is part of the programme at Hopetown Darlington, the railway heritage museum quarter on McNay Street in Darlington. After dark the site becomes "a haunted after-hours spectacular", with characters round every corner.
What to expect:
- Friday 30 October 2026, 6pm - 9pm
- "Wander through a spookily dressed site where mysterious characters lurk around every corner"
- On the night: spooky walkaround characters, the Ghost Train, the Trick or Treat Trail, fire performers, the Monster Mash Silent Disco and live music
- "Terror-fying Tornado in the locomotive works" and the museum open after hours
- "£5 per person (aged 3+)"
- The Experiment! time travel ride carries an "Additional charge applies (£5 per passenger)"
