About this event
Hocus Pocus Trains are part of the programme at the Northampton & Lamport Railway, a volunteer-run heritage line at Chapel Brampton. Steam trains run hourly between Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton with the train and station decorated for Halloween.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026
- Departures on the hour: 1pm-4pm on the Saturday, 11am-3pm on the Sunday
- "Extensive Halloween decorations on the train and around the station"
- "Visitor attendance in Halloween fancy dress is actively encouraged! (but not mandatory)"
- "Halloween Fun for all ages. All children receive a treat."
- "Our 'Platform 3 Buffet' will be open throughout, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared hot food."
- A return ride lasts about 45 minutes and there are no toilets on the train
- Free on-site gravel parking, ramps throughout and a dedicated Accessibility Compartment
- Booking is recommended but not essential; dogs welcome on board
