Holiday workshops: Kitchen Lab (Year 3 and 4) is part of the Holiday workshops programme at the Royal Institution in London.

A hands-on workshop packed with experiments using things you might already have at home, exploring a world where the kitchen becomes a laboratory and everyday ingredients unlock the surprising chemistry and physics hiding in your cupboards.

What to expect:

• Expect things to get messy, in the best way - mixing and experimenting through a series of interactive challenges
• Participants think like scientists: asking questions, making predictions and designing experiments of their own
