Home Ed Club: Clay Penguin

Home Ed Club: Clay Penguin is part of the Home Ed Club at Doodles, a pottery painting and craft studio at Baytree Garden Centre in Weston, near Spalding.

Doodles runs a monthly craft session built for home-educated children. Each class takes a different skill, and every child makes their own version of the project.

What to expect:

• Friday 6 November 2026, sittings at 10am, 12pm and 2pm
• "Make a quirky clay penguin out of clay and paint them"
• Doodles describes "the 10am session a noisier fun & lively session, and the 2pm more of a quieter, calm and relaxed workshop"
• Three sittings on the day, at 10am, 12pm and 2pm, each lasting around 1 1/2 hours
• "All projects are suitable for beginners and can be customised to suit the individual."
• Pieces are glazed and fired at the studio, to collect a couple of weeks later
• Book in advance on the studio's own booking page
• Doodles' own line: "These workshops cost £15 per child, except the fused glass workshops which are £20 per child."
