Home of Halloween: Frankenstein

Frankenstein is a limited-run Halloween show in the programme at The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, which the operator describes as actors, special effects and a ride in a walkthrough you "see, hear, touch, smell and feel. It's hilariously fun, it's scary!"

What to expect:

• The operator's words: "our new limited-time show 'Frankenstein' from 26th September to 8th November"
• It joins ten actor-led shows covering 1,000 years of Lancashire history - the Pendle Witches, the Plague Doctor, the Torturer, the Dark Chapel
• Included with general admission; pre-booking is essential and your ticket carries a timed entry slot
• Opening hours change date by date through the run (11:30am-4pm some days, 10:30am-5pm others, 10am-7pm over half term), so check your date
• Dark, smelly, noisy, with enclosed spaces; staff will walk you out at any point if you want to leave, and actors never touch guests
• Fully wheelchair accessible with free wheelchair hire; the optional drop ride needs a height of 1.4m
