Hop tu Naa Festival 2026 at Cregneash

Part of Manx National Heritage's Hop tu Naa programme, which runs 24 October to 1 November 2026.

Cregneash hosts its annual Manx Hop tu Naa Festival, a key highlight of the October half term programme. The event brings Manx customs to life through hands-on activity, music, storytelling, and food traditions across the historic village.

What to expect:

• Saturday 31 October 2026, two sessions: 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm
• Carve a moot (turnip) lantern, sing the Hop tu Naa song with Matt Kelly, traditional dances
• Herbal charms, harvest crafts, Hollantide gingerbread and fireside Manx fairytales
• Suitable for families and children of all primary school ages
• Some activities are outdoors and the village ground is uneven: dress for the weather, sturdy footwear
• Everyone attending needs a ticket; all children must be accompanied by an adult
