About this event
Join the Library Day! with free drop in Children's Events. We would like to welcome new joiners and library regulars to celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026 with us at Alfreton Library. Whether you are already a member of the library or would like to become one, come and enjoy our story themed crafts and find out what the library can offer. Children of any age can join the library - parents / carers just bring along proof of your name and address on a form of ID on the day. Each new child joiner will receive a welcome gift (while stocks last). Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Crafts are suitable for children aged 4 years and up.
