About this event
Kids Go Wild: Autumn Adventures is part of the East Riding Coast and Countryside programme, run by the council's Countryside team.
Autumn has arrived and we'd love you to join us in the woods to build hibernation homes for wildlife. Take part in an autumn scavenger hunt too and search for wonderful fruits, seeds and colourful leaves galore.
What to expect:
- Tuesday 27 October 2026 (school holidays), two sessions: 10am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Build wildlife-friendly dens from logs, leaves, moss, sticks and twigs
- "Suitable for children and young people of all ages, accompanied by adults."
- The operator notes the event is not designed for children under 3
- "£5 per child"; parents and carers do not need a ticket but must attend with their children
- Meet in the woods: park in the Foreshore car park and follow the temporary Kids Go Wild signs
- Public toilets in the car park
