"Join Handmade Parade to create your very own magical lantern this October half term, and be part of the Tameside Northern Lights Lantern Parade!" This year's parade theme is The Hare and the Moon.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 October 2026, 10:15am-12pm or 1:15-3pm
- Make a lantern with Handmade Parade for the parade story
- Lanterns dry over a few days and are stored safely for you
- Collect your lantern from Ashton Old Baths from 3pm on Saturday 14 November; the parade starts at 5pm
