Last Friday Pool Fun Session at Beacon

On the last Friday of the month Beacon opens the flumes and the wave pool to 8 to 12 year olds only, with no adult swimmers in the water.

What to expect:

• Flumes and waves, exclusively for ages 8 to 12 - the page's own words.
• "No adult swims during this session."
• Runs the last Friday of every month except July; the centre's swimming timetable shows it at 7.15pm - 8.30pm.
• Beacon has a 25m pool, flumes and a wave machine, family changing and an on-site car park.
• Book by calling Beacon reception on 01592 583383.
• Kids swim with the big pool inflatable - climbing, bouncing and racing through the floating obstacle course.
• Music the whole way through: the trust calls it a Pool Inflatable Disco.
• £4.70 per session (junior rate).
• The trust's own note: "The inflatable may not be available on some dates due to staffing. Refunds are available with 24 hours' notice." Big floats are put out instead.
