About this event
The Christmas Market Trams are part of Isle of Man Railways' Christmas 2026 programme.
Rather than fight for a parking space at the Laxey Village Christmas Markets, you ride there on the Manx Electric Railway: "The annual fabulous festive fayre is back at The Laxey Village Institute. Wonderful crafted Christmas cards, gifts and produce, our lovely cafe full with tempting meals and homemade cakes and of course a visit from the big man himself Santa."
What to expect:
- Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026
- Trams leave Derby Castle in Douglas from 09:40, the last one back reaching Derby Castle at 16:55
- Board or alight at any of the usual stops in between
- Free entry to the market on production of a valid dated paper tram ticket bought on the day of travel
- "Special offer: One child between the ages of 5-15 will travel FREE with each standard full fare paying adult. Under 5's travel for FREE."
