About this event
The Little Peasants Walking Tour is part of the Halloween events programme at The York Dungeon. The pitch: "If your little peasants are too young (or too scared!) to visit us inside the Dungeon, then join us as we bring The York Dungeon's humour and fun outside onto the streets in York!"
What to expect:
- Sixty minutes of walking, laughing and learning with the Jester and Smedley, past Clifford's Tower, York Minster and The Shambles
- Tales of York's infamous rogues - Dick Turpin, Guy Fawkes and Margaret Clitherow, the Pearl of York
- "Recommended for children of all ages" and "suitable for all the family"; pushchairs and prams welcome, but it is a 60-minute walk
- "Tickets are £9.95 per adult, £7.95 for children (Under 3's are free)." Adult-only bookings are not possible
- Four tours a day at 11:30am, 1pm, 3pm and 4:30pm, pre-booked; arrive promptly or you will be left behind
- Outdoors throughout: "Bring an umbrella" if rain is forecast, and comfortable footwear
