About this event
Little Sprouts is part of the programme at Ouseburn Farm, a free-to-enter working city farm in Newcastle.
Join us for a free six-week outdoor gardening and nature club for kids aged 0-4. Sessions follow the forest school ethos: child-led play and exploring outdoors in all weathers, around the fields, woodlands, orchard and the farm's garden.
What to expect:
- Mondays 19 October to 23 November 2026, 10am - 11.30am
- A six-week block: sign up only if you can commit to at least four of the dates
- Optional crafts and play prompts; children are free to join in if they like
- Each session ends with a story and a healthy farm-grown snack (in the classroom if very rainy)
- Meet each week outside the aviary in the garden
- "Come dressed for the weather!"
- Free; book through Ouseburn Farm's Ticket Tailor page (sold out at 10 Oct 2026)
