About this event
Magic Carpet is part of the programme at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street in Edinburgh.
Our Magic Carpet sessions introduce you and your little one to some of the fascinating objects and themes in the museum in a fun and interactive way. Each month we explore a different theme using song, rhyme, movement, play and handling objects.
What to expect:
- Selected Mondays, two identical sessions each date: 10:30 - 11:15 and 11:45 - 12:30
- For under 5s; 45 minutes per session
- Child £5, Member child £4
- Learning Centre Event Space, Level 2 - a secure space so your little one can move around and explore safely
- Relaxed and informal, with sensory play, songs and gentle movement; your little one can stand, move around or sleep
- Meet your Magic Carpet leaders in Hawthornden Court to check in
- If you are visiting with a buggy, use the Tower Entrance on the corner of Chambers Street and George IV Bridge
- Shoes off before sitting down on the Magic Carpet
