Make a Festive ‘Magic City’ Lantern is part of the programme at the Charles Dickens Museum in Doughty Street, London.
Light up the dark winter nights by making your own Dickensian London inspired lantern to take home.
What to expect:
- Sunday 22 November 2026, sessions at 10.15am, 12.15pm and 2.15pm
- All materials provided. Sessions last 1 hour 15 minutes.
- A tour of 48 Doughty Street, decorated for a Victorian Christmas, then lantern-making inspired by the London skyline
- Materials include a flameless tealight
- Suitable for ages 8-12 years; all children must be accompanied
- A family event for adults with children only
- £8 children, £14 adults - all tickets include admission to the historic house for you to explore further before or after.
