Make a T-shirt book bag at Sandhurst Library

Join us and learn how to make a book bag from an old T-shirt. This Green Libraries Week, we’re celebrating how libraries promote sustainability, share resources and help reduce waste. Bring along an old T-shirt and learn how to give it a new lease of life by turning it into a reusable book bag. No sewing required! Just as libraries encourage sharing and reusing books, this free activity offers a chance to find simple ways to reuse, repurpose and reduce waste. This is a free drop-in event. For children aged 8 years and over. We encourage adults to join in the fun too! Just bring an old T-shirt, no other materials needed.
