About this event
Make Your Own Carnivorous Kokedama! is part of the programme at Chelsea Physic Garden, London's oldest botanic garden, in Chelsea.
A Halloween workshop on the darker side of the plant world: make a kokedama, a plant grown in a sculpted ball of soil wrapped in moss, using a carnivorous plant such as a Venus flytrap or pitcher plant.
What to expect:
- Friday 23 October 2026, two sessions: 10am-11am and 11am-12pm
- Suitable for both adults and children; children must be accompanied by an adult
- Learn how carnivorous plants lure and trap their prey
- Messy, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Includes Garden entry for the day, all materials and your finished kokedama
- £15-£20
