Marble Mayhem at Foxton Canal Museum

Marble Mayhem is part of the programme at Foxton Canal Museum at Foxton Locks. This half term the museum is celebrating the tiny marble: marbles are running amok in the boilerhouse, with several marble runs to try and the chance to build your own.

What to expect:

• Open every Friday to Sunday until Sunday 1 November 2026, 10am to 3pm
• Several marble runs you can try, and materials to come and build your own
• Free with entry into the museum
• Museum entry is £4 for an adult, and free for under-18s accompanying a paying adult
• A drop-in during normal opening — no booking, arrive any time while the museum is open
• Housed in the reconstructed boilerhouse which once powered the Foxton boat lift, so the canal exhibitions are part of the same visit
• There are no public toilets at the museum; the nearest are in the public car parks at Foxton
