About this event
Meet the Animals is part of the programme at Murton Farm, Tearoom & Nature Reserve near Forfar in Angus, run by the Murton Trust.
Join us on the farm where you can meet some of our animals. These are drop-in sessions to pop over to while you are playing on the farm. The animal chosen for each session varies — they may be in the petting pen as you enter the farm, or at their paddock for some of the bigger animals. Our staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have about our furry friends.
What to expect:
- Saturday 12 September, Sunday 18 October and Sunday 15 November 2026
- 11am to 12pm each date, drop in any time within the hour
- On the visitor farm, either in the petting pen or at a larger animal's paddock
- Suitable for all ages
- No booking required; usual farm entry rates apply
- Murton's own farm entry line: "Adult – £2.50, Child – £2.20, Accompanying Adult – £2.20. Under 1's free. Child – Age 1 to 15. Adult – 16 & over"
