About this event
Take a tour around the moat and hear about when and why Bodiam Castle was built, its setting within the landscape, and who lived at the castle. Make your way around the moat path with a friendly guide in character and listen as they pause to show and tell you more about this magnificent medieval building. Selected Fridays, April–October, 12.15pm and 2.15pm.
What to expect:
- 6 dates between 25 September and 30 October 2026, 12:15–15:00
- Wear clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Step free route accessible for wheelchair users. Please see the access page at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bodiamcastle
- Meeting point: Meet at the end of the bridge.
- This open-air activity is weather dependent, and occasionally may need to be changed or cancelled at short notice.
- Occasionally at busy times the group size for each tour may need to be limited, on a first come first served basis.
