About this event
Monthly Clean Up is part of the events programme run by Friends of Stamford Park in Altrincham, where volunteers meet on the first Sunday of every month to tidy and garden this Grade II-listed park.
It is a work party the whole family is asked to, not an adults-only one: tools are handed out at the bowling pavilion and there is something from the cafe for children who come along.
What to expect:
- Sunday 1 November 2026, 2-3pm; the group's line is "Park clean up - first Sunday of every month"
- "Latest clean up dates Sundays 6th Sep, 4th Oct, 1st Nov, 2-3pm" - the first two have now gone
- Meet at the Bowling Pavilion in Stamford Park
- Litter-picking and gardening tools are provided, so bring nothing but outdoor clothes
- The poster offers children a free treat from the Cafe in the Park when an adult buys a hot drink
- Outdoors in all weathers; the park has play areas, ponds and a cafe if you stay on
- Questions to [email protected]
