About this event
Musical storytelling for families is part of the Queen's House anniversary weekend, celebrating ten years since the House reopened in 2016.
Travel back in time to the 19th century, when the Queen’s House was a school for the children of sailors. Through interactive storytelling, live music, singing and movement, families can experience a day in the life of the children who lived and studied here.
What to expect:
- Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026
- Sessions at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm in the Great Hall
- March, make music and practise sailing skills on the famous drill ship
- Free
- The weekend also has free gallery talks; programme is subject to change
