About this event
With the help of a Nature Pack, children (and adults alike) can get up close to creepy crawlies, head to the bird hide and listen out for the different songs of woodland birds or maybe make a den and play for the rest of the day. Be sure to return the packs to our friendly team at the Welcome Building so that other people can enjoy them when they visit.
What to expect:
- 31 dates between 20 September and 1 November 2026, 10:30–16:30
- Suitable for children age 3+
- Please wear sturdy footwear and clothes that are appropriate for the weather on the day you visit. There is limited indoor shelter at Hare Hill.
- Some uneven terrain and steps. Step-free route around garden with level paths. Manual wheelchair and powered mobility Tramper vehicle available to borrow.
- Meeting point: Head to the Welcome Building to borrow a Nature Pack. The packs are free to use so please look after them with love and care.
