October Half Term at the Mary Rose is part of the Mary Rose Museum's Portsmouth 100 centennial celebrations: this October half term "come and meet our Tudor crew on board the Mary Rose and find out what life was like onboard Henry VIII’s favourite ship!"
What to expect:
- Every day from Monday 26 to Saturday 31 October 2026, 11am – 3pm
- Make your own linstock (a cardboard lighting stick) with a fiery dragon’s head in the learning centre, Monday to Friday 11am – 3pm
- Superstitions at sea with the Tudor gunner: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11.30, 12.30, 13.30 and 14.15
- Learn how to fire a Tudor gun: Tuesday and Thursday at 11.30, 12.30, 13.30 and 14.15
- "Free activities for the entire family to enjoy!"
- "Valid with museum ticket."
