About this event
Learn how to use specialist bat detectors, identify the different species found at Nostell, and uncover their flight paths and feeding habits. This unique guided walk offers the chance to explore the Pleasure Grounds and Menagerie Garden at dusk while learning more about these remarkable nocturnal creatures. While we'll do our best to spot bats during the walk, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
What to expect:
- Daily 25 October to 27 October 2026, 16:30–18:00
- Families are welcome
- Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear, as paths may be uneven, wet or muddy. Staff will have torches, but feel free to bring your own additional lighting.
- As this is an evening event, lighting levels will be low and visibility may be reduced in some areas.
- Meeting point: Visitors to meet in the Courtyard.
