About this event
Our last Sunday Open Day of the season is a chance to get ready for Halloween, with lots of fun for families and prizes for Halloween costumes. The Gardens of Easton Lodge, near Great Dunmow, were redesigned by Harold Peto in 1902 and partially restored by volunteers.
What to expect:
- Sunday 18 October 2026, 11am to 5pm, last entry 4pm
- Spooky trail, fun games for families and guess the weight of the pumpkin
- Prizes for Halloween costumes, so come dressed up
- The Rock Choir performs pop, musical theatre, classical and gospel songs
- Craft stalls, garden produce and a jam and jelly tombola
- Archive Building open, with a special display on the Gardens' trees
- Refreshments from Daisy's and bacon/sausage rolls from the Giggly Pig
- "Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.50 on the gate. Children under 16 FREE."
- Dogs on leads welcome
