Outdoor Playgroups at The Children's Wood

Outdoor Playgroups are part of the weekly programme at The Children's Wood and Meadow, the urban wild space in Glasgow's North Kelvinside.

"Come to join us for outdoor play for under-5s." Two mornings a week in term time the wood and meadow are given over to small children and whoever brings them.

What to expect:

• Every Wednesday and Friday during school term time, 11am to 1pm
• Free outdoor play for under-5s across the wood and meadow
• "Bring your snacks/lunch"
• "Dress for the weather" - it runs outside whatever the day is doing, so wellies and waterproofs
• "Bring £1 donation per family if possible"
• The site also has a labyrinth, a beedookit, a sandpit, a sensory garden and a treehouse to play on
• Find it at Kelbourne / Sanda / Clouston Street, G20 8QW; the charity asks visitors "to walk, cycle, hop or take public transport" where possible
• Run by The Children's Wood and Meadow (Scottish charity SC045378); [email protected] or 07763 209414
