Paper Quilt Workshop for Kids

Join us for a creative African and Caribbean inspired paper quilt workshop as part of Black History Month. Explore colour, pattern, shape and storytelling as you create your own paper quilt square. Take inspiration from the rich textile traditions, bold patterns and creative heritage of Africa and the Caribbean, as well as quilt-making traditions from across the African diaspora. Children can experiment with colourful paper shapes, create their own patterns and add their finished square to our community quilt. No previous experience needed,  just bring your creativity!
