About this event
Paper Ripples is the Whitworth's free October half term family workshop in Manchester, built around its Beneath the Great Wave: Hokusai and Hiroshige exhibition. "Artist Jasmine Gardner invites families to explore water, waves and movement through playful paper cutting and making."
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, 10.30am to 1.30pm
- Free, drop in - no booking
- "Add your creations to a growing interactive installation, which will build and change across the two days."
- "These workshops take place in Gallery 3. Suitable for all ages."
- On the same two days a loose parts play area is open on the Mezzanine for the youngest visitors, free and drop-in during gallery opening hours
- A separate ticketed workshop for 8-12 year-olds runs each afternoon
