Parent & Tots Playtime and Inclusive Quiet Time Skating

Parent & Tots Playtime and Inclusive Quiet Time Skating is part of the 2026/27 season at Lockerbie Ice Rink. Every Saturday morning of the season the rink opens an hour before the public sessions for little ones, and for anyone who wants the ice quiet.

What to expect:

• An hour of quieter, calmer ice, 10.30-11.30am every Saturday from 3 October 2026 to 6 March 2027 (none on Boxing Day)
• An inclusive quiet time as well as a tots session, so it suits children who find a busy open session too much
• "Toys, Penguins & Kids Skating Blades Free" - the skating aids are included, not an extra
• "£5.00 per person", "Parents & Carers Free", "Skate Hire - £4.00 all ages"
• No booking needed, and "we only charge if you go on the ice"
• Fully accessible: all on the ground floor, automatic doors, three accessible toilets; free parking
• Jodie's Cafe is at the side of the rink; the public Open Session follows at 12 noon
