About this event
Passenger Day is part of the 2026 Passenger Day Programme run by the Staines Society of Model Engineers at Staines Park.
The society's members run their hand-crafted model locomotives on the miniature railway in Staines Park, giving rides to the public. This is the last running day of the 2026 season.
What to expect:
- Sunday 25 October, 13.00 to 16.00 (an early finish "due to time of year")
- "All rides are charged at £1-00 per person per ride."
- "any child under six years of age is accompanied by an older child or adult"
- Riders sit on the train: "NO LEANING OUT, NO TURNING ROUND"
- Running depends on the weather; rain can stop operation on the day
- The car park is usually full on running days; parking is possible in the road alongside
