Peebles Woodmarket

A fantastic free autumn festival combining woodcraft, nature, and interactive fun for families. The Woodmarket showcases talented makers displaying beautiful wooden items from furniture to jewellery, while TreeFest celebrates forests with outdoor activities including tree climbing and the Scottish Conker Championships. Inside the Drill Hall, kids will love the hands-on Mesmerising Mechanisms exhibition—a collection of quirky wooden machines that only work when visitors turn the handles—plus a woodland puppet show with loveable characters. With a cosy café serving snacks and a relaxed atmosphere across two days, it's perfect for families wanting to explore creative crafts, learn about woodlands, and enjoy interactive entertainment without breaking the bank.
