
Pendennis Castle: A True Icon of the Steam Age is part of the programme at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in Pickering.
"We're delighted to be welcoming, No. 4079 Pendennis Castle to the NYMR, courtesy of the Didcot Railway Centre." Built at Swindon in 1924, she outpaced Flying Scotsman in the 1925 trials and later hauled iron ore in Western Australia.
