About this event
Pumpkin Picking is part of the Halloween Adventure at Stockeld Park near Wetherby. The pumpkins are grown on the Stockeld Estate, and you reach the patch by tractor-trailer before heading into the field to choose your own.
What to expect:
- The Pumpkin Patch is open 9.30am-5pm, every October weekend and daily 24-31 Oct 2026
- Last tractor out to the patch 4.30pm; last tractor back 5.15pm, running about every 15 minutes
- Or walk it - a signposted 5-7 minute path from the tractor stop by the Enchanted Forest
- Entry to the patch and the tractor ride are included in your ticket; "there'll be a small charge for pumpkins"
- Traditional carving pumpkins and smaller varieties to choose from
- Meet the live-action Scarecrow, and pose at the pumpkin wagon, speedboat and Tardis photo spots
- "Prepare for mud! As our patch is a working field, please dress for the conditions" - wellies
- Refreshments cabin at the patch for hot and cold drinks
