Pumpkin Picking at Tweddle Farm

Pumpkin Picking is part of the programme at Tweddle Farm, a family-run petting farm at Blackhall Colliery in County Durham. "Our patch is bursting with all kinds of shapes, colours & sizes! Choose your favourite to take home and carve."

What to expect:

• Weekends from Saturday 10 October, then every day of half term from Monday 26 October 2026
• The farm's two pages disagree on the last day - 30 or 31 October - so check before a Halloween visit
• Open 10am to 5pm, last admissions around 3pm
• "Your ticket includes farm and pumpkin patch entry. Please note, tickets do not include pumpkins. Please add your desired amount before checking out"
• The rest of the farm comes with it: animal handling, bottle feeding, tractor and barrel rides and soft play
• Garden games, face painting, funfair rides and photo opportunities; mostly outdoors, so wellies and warm layers
• Indoor and outdoor picnic areas if you bring your own food; season ticket holders get the patch included
