Pumpkinfest

Pumpkinfest is Park Hall Countryside Experience's half-term Halloween event near Oswestry. The farm aims at what it calls the perfect level of spookiness that isn't too scary for youngsters — lots of pumpkin and spooky fun rather than frights.

What to expect:

• Open 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 October, then daily from 23 October to 1 November 2026
• 10am to 5pm each day
• Every paying child gets a free pumpkin to carve in the farm's huge pumpkin shed, and takes it home — so the mess stays at the farm
• Pumpkin Alley, The Little Scare House and a Spooky Trail
• Games every day, including Pass the Pumpkin and Mummy Wrap
• The ticket also covers the whole farm: indoor and outdoor play, barrel train and tractor rides, animals, trenches, planet room and science area
• On-site price £16.95 for an adult and for a child 2-16; child under 2 FREE
