Pumpkins by Night at Monty's Farm Park

Pumpkins by Night is part of Monty's Pumpkin Time season at Monty's Farm Park in Cardross.

Pumpkin carving after dark. The farm says it is "aimed at older kids (from over 5 we'd say) and adults who fancy coming along to experience Monty's by night".

What to expect:

• Wander through twinkly woods, then carve a pumpkin - all tools provided and the mess left behind
• A silent disco to boogie in, and the donkeys, Shetland pony, goats and guinea pigs in floodlit pens at the top of the park
• Event opening times 5-7pm, with carving slots starting between 5pm and 5.40pm
• Marshmallow toasting "charged at GBP 3 per marshmallow stick on the evening"; a seasonal coffee and hot chocolate stand
• Autumn Evening Child GBP 14.50, Autumn Evening Adult GBP 16.50, registered carer GBP 7.50
• Mainly outdoors and the indoor play barn is closed; the daytime play equipment is not open in the dark
• October in the west of Scotland, so cosy clothes and footwear you don't mind getting dirty
