About this event
Quiet Time is part of the programme at R-CADE Glasgow, an independent boardgame cafe and retro video game arcade on the Saltmarket.
During our quiet time sessions video game audio and ambient music will be reduced, our capacity in the arcade is reduced, all patrons will be asked to keep noise to a minimum, and the creation of a low stimulant environment will be our top priority. We have created our quiet session specifically for people with additional support needs who require the space to be quieter.
What to expect:
- Every Thursday from 12pm to 2pm, and the last Sunday of each month from 4.40pm to 7pm
- Over 1800 family friendly games across more than 20 consoles
- Reduced sound, reduced capacity and a low-stimulus room
- All children under 8 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the arcade
- Children aged 8 to 11 can play alone but an adult must stay in the venue
- Gamers aged 12 and up do not need adult supervision
- The operator's own price: "7.50 British pounds" per pass
