Join us for a fun and welcoming space where children and their families can get creative together. Take inspiration from the bold, colourful designs of pioneering Caribbean-British textile designer Althea McNish and create your own fashion-inspired masterpiece. Using recycled and everyday materials including paper, wool, cardboard and natural materials, families will design patterns and decorations that will come together to transform into a spectacular collaborative ball gown. Led by Donald Waugh, an actor and arts advocate best known for appearing in Bugsy Malone, Grange Hill and the hit musical Cats. Alongside his performing career, Donald has dedicated many years to using the arts to inspire creativity, confidence and community engagement. Suitable for families. Free.
