About this event
Relaxed Curiosity Club is part of the programme at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street in Edinburgh.
These relaxed sessions are designed for children with additional support needs and their families. Get inspired through games, activities and an optional gallery visit, and explore some of the fascinating facts and stories behind our collection.
What to expect:
- Selected Saturdays, 14:30, lasting 1 hour
- Content is aimed at ages 7 - 11, but the museum says this is not a set age range
- Aimed at children with additional support needs, neurodivergent children or children with disabilities
- Child £10, Member child £9, Disabled £9
- Learning Centre Studios, Level 4
- Up to two parents or carers per child can stay and join in or relax nearby
- Reduced numbers, a slower pace and a Quiet Space nearby
- An optional gallery visit follows at 15:30
- Themes: 31 Oct - Early People; 28 Nov - The Romans; 2027 dates to be announced
