Relaxed Opening: Exploring the Classical World is part of the programme at Sir John Soane's Museum in London. "This special event is designed exclusively for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and or Neurodivergence, and their families." A self-guided session with sensory activities, symbol trails and fidget toys to borrow.
What to expect:
- Tuesday 27 October, 3-5pm
- Fewer visitors than usual, adjusted lighting and noise, and a chill out space
- Tactile materials related to the Museum to touch
- A Visual Story and SEND family trail to download in advance; printed copies on the day
- The Museum is closed to the general public and open only to pre-booked guests
- Only one wheelchair user can be accommodated per Relaxed Opening slot
