About this event
Running Days is part of the programme at Barrow Hill Roundhouse in Chesterfield. Join us for one of our special 2026 Running Days. Jump aboard our train, top and tailed by two of the Roundhouse locomotives, for a trip up the Springwell branch line.
What to expect:
- Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026
- A train ride up the Springwell branch line, top and tailed by two Roundhouse locomotives
- See the Roundhouse site and the line-up in the yard from a different perspective
- Entry includes the Roundhouse Museum and exhibitions
- Turntable and signal box demonstrations included
- Ticket prices (on the day, no pre-booking): Adult £15.00, Child (3-15 yrs) £10.00, Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £45.00
- The museum and café are open 10am to 4pm at weekends (last entry 3pm)
