Secrets of the Old Hall Tour

Secrets of the Old Hall Tour is part of the programme at Tatton Park in Knutsford. A guide walks you through five hundred years of the Old Hall, the oldest building on the estate, which dates to the late fifteenth century and opens to the public only rarely.

What to expect:

• Saturday 17 October 2026, two tours: 10:30am–12:00pm and 1:00pm–2:30pm
• A 90-minute guided tour of a building with “limited public opening”
• “Suitable for 10+ years”
• “smell the woodsmoke and maybe even hear a ghost story or two in reputedly one of the most haunted buildings in England”
• “£15 per person”, which includes your parkland vehicle entry on the day
• Small groups — the Old Hall is an unheated period building, so dress warmly
