About this event
The SEN Friendly sessions are part of the Pumpkin Festival at White Post Farm & Zoo at Farnsfield, near Newark.
On four mornings of the Halloween run the farm gives over the first hour in the pumpkin patch to a quieter session, so that picking and carving can happen away from the crowd.
What to expect:
- Four mornings: Sunday 18, Wednesday 21, Sunday 25 and Wednesday 28 October 2026, 10:00 to 11:00
- The farm's own wording: "a 10-11am SEN Friendly pumpkin patch session, where visitors can enjoy some relaxing picking and carving, in a less-busy pumpkin patch"
- "Pick your pumpkin, place it on the scales for weighing, and give it to one of the farmers for scooping out!"
- "All paying children will receive a voucher for 50% off their pumpkin"
- The rest of the farm and zoo is included for the whole day afterwards
- Booked through the farm's own Pumpkin Festival ticket, which is the same product
- Out in the patch, which is the farm's own field
