The Sensory Room is part of October Half-Term: Glow In The Dark Week at Leeds City Museum, which runs 24 October to 1 November. "This event is for families with SEND, neurodiversity, autism and/or anxiety."
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 October 2026, two sessions, at 10.30am and at 1pm
- "Pop into our sensory room with dark tents, light-up toys, squishy floor tiles, dens and a bubble tube."
- "You can come and go as you need to, and there’ll be no need to queue."
- "Booking required. Please book a ticket per child. Accompanying adults don’t need a ticket."
- "The museum has a lift. Alternatively, as this event is on the Lower Ground floor, you can enter the museum through the cafe."
- "Please contact us if you’d like to find out more about the museum/event or if you’d like to discuss how we can best support your family on the day"
