Skeleton Invasion at Southsea Model Village

Skeleton Invasion is part of the events programme at Southsea Model Village, the miniature village built inside Lumps Fort on the Portsmouth seafront. "Back by popular demand, From 24th – 31st October, the whole village is transforming into a spooky world of skeletons, pumpkins, and surprises around every corner."

What to expect:

• Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October 2026; the village is open 10:30am to 4:30pm, "Last Entry 45 minutes before closing!"
• "Hundreds of mischievous skeletons will return to climbing the castle walls, sneaking into the houses, and causing chaos wherever they go."
• Tunnels of Terror: "Dare to explore the dark, twisting tunnels beneath the village"
• Pumpkin carving: "Choose your pumpkin, grab your tools, and create a creepy (or funny!) face to take home."
• "Most visitors spend around 45 minutes to an hour walking through the models"
• Outdoors throughout, on the old fort — dress for the weather; no toilets on site
