Step into the quiet cave, a cosy hideaway where little adventurers can snuggle up with their favourite ALPTALL animals, curl up with a story and enjoy the gentle sounds of the Himalayas.
Our quiet cave will be set up as a calming, sensory space, perfect for kids who like to find a quiet spot to read, play gently or take a moment to chill out, regulate and re-group.
What to expect:
- Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, October half term only
- A calming, sensory space inside Småland at IKEA Gateshead
- Småland is IKEA's free supervised play area: children are cared for by Småland co-workers for 60 minutes while grown-ups shop
- Booking and checking in is required on the day
- Last entry 1 hour before Småland closing time
