Think spiders are spooky? Think again! Join us for a fascinating and family-friendly adventure where we’ll uncover the secret lives of these misunderstood minibeasts. To begin, our friendly nature guide will introduce you to the incredible world of spiders - from their clever web designs to their important role in the ecosystem. Many of the park’s spiders hide in the day and come out at night, so as night falls, you will head out on a gentle guided walk in the dark to see how many different spiders you can spot on the trees, reeds, bridges, and walls.
What to expect:
- 16 October 2026 to 17 October 2026, from 17:00 to 19:30
- Meet us at the Snuff Mill. Please park in the Garden Centre car park
- "Please dress appropriately for the weather and time of day. Please bring a torch if you have one."
- The activity takes place on flat ground and accessed via surfaced paths, but will be near unfenced open water.
